I have the TR SSD heatsink version with a fan. Highly recommend that. In my case, my SSD was sitting right against my GPU and was getting cooked by the exhaust during gaming. Passive sinks weren't cutting it as they can't cool further without good airflow once they get heat saturated. To be honest, even the fan version was barely sufficient. What made a tremendous difference was relocating the SSD+ fan heatsink using a PCIe M.2 addon card to the other side of the GPU, near the intake,

At any rate, this seems silly.
Gen 5 read/write at 13-15 Gb/s gets pretty toasty apparently. This seems great for a homelab and laughable overkill for the gamers it likely targets.
