Laptop manufacturers didn't ship the right power profile for mobile.
Most laptops have a BIOS out to fix it, but people don't stay on top of updates. And in the rare case your laptop doesn't have a BIOS update yet, you can still fix it yourself.
Adjust down PL1, PL2, and PL4 with a slight core undervolt.
It can all be done with XTU for testing and then applied in BIOS for long term stability.
