Purex liquid laundry detergent is landing as a very cheap bulk buy, especially for Walgreens pickup orders that clear the $10 minimum. The strongest value came from stacking Walgreens credit and rewards, with one order of eight jugs costing just $0.23, and the free pickup threshold was reached with five items. Ibotta can also shave off another $0.50 on in store purchases. Availability is uneven, though, and the Linen and Lilies scent was out of stock in some areas.

  • Walgreens gift credit and a $5 reward reportedly enabled extremely low per-jug pricing for multiple detergent jugs.

    amartins02

  • The deal reportedly still worked using the workaround without ad-blockers or a private browser window.

    wiffle

  • Ordering enough items to reach the free store pickup threshold reportedly helped complete the deal efficiently.

    AquaIdea9357

  • Using Ibotta for an additional $0.50 off reportedly reduced the effective price for an in-store purchase.

    DrRad

  • The Linen & lilies scent reportedly was not in stock anywhere in the buyer's area, limiting availability for the deal.

    lavendermermaid

  • Some washing experiences reportedly caused throat burning and a horrible taste in the mouth after washing sheets with detergent.

    someoneslick

  • Detergent use reportedly may contribute to residue buildup in washer seams, which can irritate skin and may require cleaning the washer.

    ludocdoc

  • Walgreens deal mechanics reportedly made the promotion less appealing due to the $10 minimum and workaround requirements.

Nice. I get $10 in Walgreens gift credit every month with my Bilt card. Also had a $5 reward. Scored 8 jugs for $0.23.

Any time I wash my sheets with ANY detergent I wake up with a horrible taste in my mouth and burning in my throat so i have to know I am dying from breathing in chemicals and nothing i can do about it because I have no clue if my washer is not rinsing it out or if I am overly sensitive or what. My fear is I am breathing in a higher amount than others do and it would obviously cause cancer.

I think you're using too much detergent. Not good for your health, linens, and washing machine

I have tried very, very ltitle detergent and same thing happens. I don't know what in the world is happening. I rinse extra times, have gotten new bedding, tried probably 15 different detergents, tried lower amounts. It's horrible. Very weird. What's hilarious is someone on reddit insisted that detergent chemicals are not bad for you to breathe in. lol.

Have you tried different forms of detergent, powder vs. liquid?

Also stay away from any scented products. I'm. Ot sure of your health insurance situation but this calls for a doctor/specialist.

Are you using fabric softener in your dryer?

Or maybe your neighbor bathes using laundry detergent.

I just can't do these Walgreen's deals anymore with the $10 minimum and the workaround. If that even works anymore. I wish it was CVS, no minimum.
