This Carl's Jr. promo is a free Famous Star with Cheese that works in the app and can be added at checkout, with the reward sometimes taking a few seconds or a few minutes to appear in the wallet. The code was still working past the posted date, and later updates extended it with new codes. The burger gets praise for its flame broiled flavor, especially as a free item, though the patty is thin and the regular price feels high. Hardee's and some Los Angeles attempts did not work, and add on upcharges are not covered.
App-based orderers who want a no-purchase burger, because the offer can be added in the app and appears at checkout or in the rewards wallet after a short delay.
Late-night fast-food hunters who want a flame-broiled burger, because the free Famous Star tastes decent and the patty has that grilled flavor.
Deal chasers who like stacking app offers back-to-back, because the app has no cooling-off period between deals.
People in Los Angeles or at Hardee's who expect the offer to work everywhere, because it did not appear there and did not work at Hardee's.
People who want add-ons covered by the free item, because extra patties and extra tomatoes were excluded from the offer.
People who need instant app confirmation, because the offer can take a few minutes to show in the rewards wallet after activation.

so today would be the last day to enter the code since the game was yesterday, and it can be redeemed until Tuesday. I am guessing it's a season long promotion so there will be other opportunities if we can find the codes.
