This Carl's Jr. promo is a free Famous Star with Cheese that works in the app and can be added at checkout, with the reward sometimes taking a few seconds or a few minutes to appear in the wallet. The code was still working past the posted date, and later updates extended it with new codes. The burger gets praise for its flame broiled flavor, especially as a free item, though the patty is thin and the regular price feels high. Hardee's and some Los Angeles attempts did not work, and add on upcharges are not covered.
The promo code worked when it was entered in the Carls Jr app or online checkout flow.
The free offer could take a few seconds to appear in the rewards wallet after redemption.
The coupon covered certain add-ons like extra pickles and extra special sauce.
The rewards account signup process reportedly required only email verification.
The offer did not work at Hardee's locations even when the Famous Star burger was available.
The promo code did not appear after being added in Los Angeles.
The promo code reportedly showed as redeemed but the offer may not fully display until checkout is completed.
The coupon reportedly would not cover add-ons like extra patty or extra tomatoes.
