Doesn't work at Hardee's despite also having the famous star burger.

This Carl's Jr. promo is a free Famous Star with Cheese that works in the app and can be added at checkout, with the reward sometimes taking a few seconds or a few minutes to appear in the wallet. The code was still working past the posted date, and later updates extended it with new codes. The burger gets praise for its flame broiled flavor, especially as a free item, though the patty is thin and the regular price feels high. Hardee's and some Los Angeles attempts did not work, and add on upcharges are not covered.

Just had first one. Have second one ordered for pickup later (diff email obv). We'll see about a 3rd (I live w/in 10 min of 3 CJ). First time I've had any burger of any kind from CJ. Liked the flame broiled flavor, found the patty to be thin. Def decent burger, esp for free, but nowhere near worth the $6.89 regular price (although that's true of almost every regularly priced FF item). Thanks again OP and repped!

are you sure it was because of the wages? Maybe it was: Nobody wants to work!
Wage is ~32%. Profit is ~8%. When wage goes up 25%, from $16 to $20, profit goes to ~0% unless one can raise the price and still make the sale. We lost 4 Carl Jr locations (5 mile radius) over the last year. Two have always provided excellent service.

Sacramento is now floating Prop 40. One time 5% tax on the rich. But we all know the tax is going to be permanent and expand to the rest of the population when the rich establish residency in another state. I can hang out in CA for a few months, but my permanent resident is in TN, Nevada, or TX.
