This promo is a free Big Mac with a small qualifying purchase, and it stands out most as a cheap way to grab McDonald's signature sandwich. The deal is easy to hit with a drink or a small add on, and the app has shown regional prices and targeted offers as low as $1.76 or $2. The main drawback is the sandwich itself, which is repeatedly described as smaller than expected, heavy on bun and sauce, and not worth full price. It works best as a coupon driven lunch rather than a regular menu buy.
The $2+ purchase threshold can be easy to meet by adding a drink to the order.
The deal can effectively make a Big Mac free when the purchase is already planned.
Some app offers show a low Big Mac price, such as $1.76, which can improve overall value.
The app deal may be redeemable for a free Big Mac reward that can be used afterward for an ice cream cone.
Big Mac portion size and meat-to-bread balance can disappoint, with sandwiches described as mostly bun.
The promo can be limited by region, with some areas reporting no availability at checked locations.
The free Big Mac offer may not appear in the app for every location or may populate later.
Some redemptions can result in low-quality sandwiches, including barely edible burgers with heavy sauce and little perceived beef.
