From what I am reading the S2000 doesn't have any way to plug additional batteries into like the B2000

I purchased the C2000 Gen 2 or a little more and I have no regrets. C2000 has handles and can take an additional extended battery

This is correct. Only the C2000 officially has an expansion battery. The DIY work around for this is plugging a lifepo4 battery into the solar charger input.

The S2000 and C2000 have different primary use cases. I have a couple S2000s and a Gen 1 C1000, but plan on grabbing a C2000 when they go on sale again.

Did you grab the Anker B2000 (2 kWh) battery when it was on sale for $500. I missed that deal
