Absolutely. I would not spend extra $ for the Daytona unless you use the jack daily, and invest in a grease gun to lube the jack. All jacks will leak with age. Just replace the O-rings and the old hydraulic fluid.

Be sure to bleed and test the new jack for defect. I don't pickup the jack, so weight is irrelevant. Always use jack stands or scissor jacks for additional protection.

I need a 3 ton one and unfortunately need to pick it up so I might need to go with aluminum. Question is, which one? Any recommendations?

Too bad you just missed the Arcan 3 ton for $228 a couple of weeks ago. If you're not in a hurry, maybe put a price watch on it and see if it goes back on sale
