Always on the lookout for a sturdy compact umbrella. Unfortunately this does not appear to be that. Saw one August review that said they bought one years ago, it finally broke, they bought a replacement, clearly not the same quality, cheaply made and flimsy. The 2026 reviews seem to support that opinion - just brutal. Getting into double digits, just in August 2026 reviews, from people who said it broke the first time they used it. Even those who don't say that, say it's difficult-to-impossible to close. I'll have to keep looking, maybe check out the Repel mentioned above.

Yep. Repel also has a lifetime warranty. Every time it broke, I emailed them with photos and they sent me a new one. Did it twice already.
