I don't recommend this. I bought one thinking it was the formal (non-L) version. It only goes to 70C so most of your higher end filaments won't be properly dried and the UI/touchscreen is *horrible*. Stay away; pay the extra $25 for the real SpacePi x4 when it goes on sale. It's a much much better built product.

70 is enough for all filaments, heat+ time= dry

The X4L goes to 75C, you were incorrect to say "70C". It is missing active ventilation and the touchscreen is functional. I got three of them new in the box for $65 each* from Amazon. They work for what I need. (storage, auto-dry monitoring, and on-demand drying)


Based on recent pricing, the X4 is $34 more than the X4L. In my case, that would have been 1/2 the price again of one X4L.

Get the one that works best for you and is in your budget.
