That was the S8 variant with lower rated amp output. I bought that one and it works OK on a V6 motor but only for 2 short cranking tries before it runs out of power. Get the GOOLOO GT4000S which was rated by Project Farm as the best all-around jump pack because it has a lot more capacity, much greater real amp output than any of these so it can start a very large V8, and it is reliable like a NOCO but costs 1/3 the price of a NOCO. I upgraded to the GT4000S 2 weeks after getting the $20 AstroAI S8 because I don't want to get stuck because my jump pack couldn't crank over my motor long enough for it to start, which will happen if you run out of gas and have air bubbles in the fuel line and you have to crank the car long enough for new fuel to reach the motor.

Seems pricey. I paid $35plus for s8 3000a the combo jump start and air compressor in April. And then a few days ago $20 for jump starter only s8 1500a. Waiting for combo deal to return

No the other one is for smaller engines, This can jump a 10L gas engine. Which pretty much covers every gas powered car on the road.
