We've had the AA one from kickstarter. It works fine, but it gets picky with older batteries.

I would not recommend their own batteries, they have failed charging in this machine more often than my older Eneloops and LADDA.

A family member has their new version which is lithium based. He had had no issues other than the charger and the batteries are proprietary.
