I think they're great. Easy to pair. I personally think they sound great as well. I don't understand the "worse sound quality ever". I don't think I would be able to tell the difference between these and a pair of iPod air buds 2nd gen.
ANC is pretty good. I use these when running the zero turn and they do a fantastic job drowning out the motor noise. Let's me run these on half volume and I can clearly hear my music without it being too loud. I thought the app and "configurable" settings would be a gimmick, but the "bass mode" is noticeable and you can set the tap settings (I.e. shift double tap from pause/play to "next song" or triple tap to previous. You can even set different settings for each bud.
For $25 I think these are a no brainer and worth a try. I bought 2 more pair in July in case I lost my last pair
Sound Quality is decent for a earbuds of this cost, EQ settings change make a lot of difference, Currently i am playing music on Jazz setting and it is a good balance of vocals and bass.
My son has Galaxy Buds 4 Pro, and he thinks these are about 75% upto the sound quality of Buds 4 Pro which for this price is pretty good, considering Buds 4 Pro are 200+ and these were just $16.
The best part is Multi Device connectivity that the Buds 4 Pro does not have, not having to switch between 2 devices you use all day is a major plus for a fraction of a cost !!
