John Wayne was a Hollywood Icon. In real life the man was quite flawed, draft dodger, womanizer and racist. While admiring his work I've seen in films is no longer my idea of a good time (why I watch a film).

Looks like these are HD on FAH, while some of the movies are 4K in the Apple bundle. True Grit & Liberty Valance appear to be 4K on Apple.

Not recommending that anyone buy it, just passing info along.

Why do people feel the need to destroy every hero? No one is perfect but clearly many people, myself included, love the "legend" and I fail to see the need for this type of comment. It seems that lately certain people want to pass judgement on people by today's often warped standards in stead of trying to judge people based on the time they lived in.

Although he's been in some excellent films and worked with some great directors, I used to think John Wayne was the worst name actor I had ever seen.

That is, until I saw Vin Diesel.
