In the past, these are not efficient at all. Just turning them on starts losing a lot of watts. Also they used to not turn off until your milwaukee battery was dead, as in can't charge back up again on a charger. Not sure if they have fixed that but be aware an M18 battery always talks to Milwaukee tools so they know not to discharge past that critical point.
