I have this device and the menus on it allow you to use rolls from other companies.

12-15 mm width continuous rolls or 18-200 mm length fixed size (with 3-10mm gaps).

I think you just need to enter the info manually if it's a non-supvan tape.

we print a barcode of our gas loyalty card (sheetz) and stick it on the credit card we always use for payment. that way we only have to pull out one card and no phone needed. My daughter uses her phone for payment so she sticks the barcode on her phone.

FYI, many of the reviews say there are only two rolls of labels instead of four. I read the reviews and checked right away, and it appeared that there were indeed only two rolls of labels. Customer service correctly informed me that there are two rolls in the machine itself, one preloaded (still need to feed it so it's ready to go) and one in a storage area.
Got one on the last deal, have printed a couple of labels and it seems to be fine.

The SUPVAN E11 is a compact Bluetooth label maker that stands out for quick, no app needed labeling and solid value around $18 to $20. It can connect to the phone app for customization, and the keyboard makes simple one word labels easy. The included rolls are clarified as four total, with two inside the printer and two in the box. Caveats include a cramped QWERTY layout, settings like bold not always saving in the app, and some units arriving with a backlit screen while others do not.

Common Questions (5)

  • It can use other companies' rolls, including 12-15 mm continuous rolls or 18-200 mm fixed-size labels with 3-10 mm gaps. Non-SUPVAN tape may require manually entering the label info and calibrating the device, while OEM rolls are easier because they include an RFID tag.

    PhoponcptsovietFriedsushi87

  • The E11 is reported to have a standard display, but some units are described as having a backlit screen. The E12 is the model specifically identified as having an LCD backlight display.

    Vinyl_DogSubaccaphillip9

  • Yes. It has a QWERTY keyboard for direct label entry, so simple one-word labels can be printed without opening an app, though the interface and keyboard are a bit cramped.

    cptsovietSubaccasupercali

  • It comes with 4 rolls total: 2 are inside the printer and 2 are in the box. One roll may be preloaded but still needs to be fed before use, which can make it look like fewer rolls at first.

    landisvphillip9

  • In the Amazon app, the code may not apply until you tap the arrow in the promo code box before continuing. If that still fails, opening Amazon in a desktop browser mode on Android reportedly makes the code work.

So the only $5 difference between the two is one extra label? That's one expensive label

The code gave me a discount for one and doubled it for two! It's cheaper to get two than to buy extra tape. Thnx!

I have the E11 and it does have a backlit screen. I use the app on my iphone to connect to it and customize labels too and I'm very happy with this especially for the price.
I bought the E11 last week and like it a lot. I have read the instructions but did't see how to backlight the screen. Can you elaborate on how to turn on the backlight? Thanks in advance.

I have had mine for a week. I've printed about 8 labels and it feels like good construction.

it does come with 4 rolls
2 inside the printer
2 in the box

Update.

I liked it and ordered a 2nd for a backup

They both say E11 on the back , but one has a backlight and the other does not have a backlight

Who knows what the future holds.

Probably the unpopular opinion, but with these portable printers. I'm of the belief that a battery operated model is better as it can be the differentiating factor that could give you a printer that lasts you 5 years or one that lasts you 2 decades, or until the wear and tear if it catches up with your printer.

I bought one and, when it arrived, it only had 3 tapes. One was in the label maker and a box with 2. It advertised as coming with 4.

That's legit but I don't think anyone is using this to mass print. The wear-and-tear on the battery will be minimal to moderate in 5 years. I much prefer a lighter built-in rechargeable.

There is a secret storage slot in the printer. All 4 are there.
