I actually just got one of these and I've been playing around with it, and I have to say, the features on this thing are pretty crazy for the price.
The little TFT screen is probably my favorite part. It's not just there to look cool either — you can use it to check things like the battery and connection status, change settings, and customize it with your own GIFs. The knob next to it is also really handy for volume and navigating the keyboard settings.
The keys feel really nice and snappy, and I've been using it for gaming and movement feels really smooth. I'm actually pretty impressed with the overall feel of the board.
For comparison, my main keyboard has been a SteelSeries Apex Pro, and honestly I'd put the overall quality of this Womier surprisingly close to it. That's saying a lot considering the price difference. The Womier software has also been a pleasant surprise for me — I actually like using it better than the SteelSeries software for this keyboard.
It also has 2.4GHz wireless, Bluetooth, and USB-C, plus an 8000mAh battery, hot-swappable switches, RGB, and the 98% layout with a numpad.
For $57.59, I'm pretty impressed with it so far.
One thing worth pointing out since I compared it to my SteelSeries Apex Pro: the SteelSeries uses magnetic Hall Effect switches, while the L98 uses traditional mechanical switches. So they're definitely not the same type of keyboard, but I'm still really impressed with how good the L98 feels, especially considering the price.
Womier also has another keyboard currently discounted that uses the magnetic Hall Effect switch technology. I'll share that one with the community as well. Fair warning, I haven't personally tried that one yet, but after owning several Womier keyboards myself, I have been really impressed with the quality of their products so far. I'm definitely curious to try their magnetic-switch keyboard myself.
