These Addlon solar string lights are a long 102 foot option for outdoor ambient lighting, with the 52 foot version already working well for similar setups. The promo code has worked at checkout for some, including in the Amazon app, and the lights can be spaced about 3 feet apart for a softer glow. Solar performance should be strongest in summer sun. The main snag is checkout friction, since the code has also failed or needed extra steps, and the price has jumped back up to $39.
Common Questions (6)
The deal initially showed as $17.99, but later comments report the price rising to $39 and the promo sometimes failing or reducing the price by only $10.40 from $39.99. Some checkout attempts still worked, so the final price depends on whether the code and coupon apply correctly.
The promo code EHKI2XCZ can still work at Amazon checkout, but it may need to be applied through the coupon box and validated with the checkmark/arrow before continuing. If another coupon is already attached, apply the code to the regular price instead of the sale price.
The same brand's 52-foot version has been used successfully and is reported to work great so far. That suggests the longer 102-foot version may be a reasonable buy if you want more coverage.
They can work well as ambient lighting when spaced about 3 feet apart. For more definition or brighter task lighting, overhead lights are still needed.
Solar performance is expected to be best in summer sun, and the lights may hold up well over time, but long-term durability still needs more months of use to confirm. That makes them a better fit for sunny placements than shaded areas.
The discount worked on a 3-pack, so the promo is not limited to a single set. That can make it useful if you want to cover a larger fence or patio area.

I was signed-into the Amazon app. I clicked the coupon on the product page.
Went to checkout. Clicked "use a gift card, voucher, or promo code."
Paste OP's discount code from this listing: EHKI2XCZ
Click the checkmark (this is where Amazon validates your coupon). If it was accepted, click continue and finish checking out.
Good luck!
