Community Reviews
This preorder is a physical cartridge version of Ocarina of Time that stands out for nostalgia, cartridge ownership, and a release day delivery window that beats Nintendo's own shipping estimate. The visuals, sound effects, movement, and gameplay are described as matching the original while looking amazing. The $59.88 price is treated as close to standard pricing for a physical copy, and the SAVE3X code has brought totals down by about $10 for some carts. The main caution is that the page has been going in and out, checkout can hang, and the foil cover appears tied to limited first run stock. A solid option if you want the cart and can catch the order flow.
Common Questions (5)
Yes. SAVE3X has been reported to take $10 off for eligible new customers, and FAST30 also took $10 off for a $35+ cart in one checkout. Some checkouts may hang when applying the code, so it may take a retry.
The cart price shows $59.88 plus tax. That matches the $60 MSRP people cite for the digital version, while the physical edition is normally listed at $70 elsewhere.
The physical version is a real cartridge, not a key card, and the game's visuals, sound effects, movement, and gameplay are reported to match the original closely. That makes the cartridge version appealing for collectors and anyone who prefers owning the game on cart.
Walmart preorders have been reported to arrive on release day, including direct store delivery by 6am. That makes it a practical choice if you want the game on launch day instead of waiting up to 9 days for free shipping elsewhere.
The listing text and photos mention foil while supplies last, but the foil cover is not guaranteed if it is no longer in the title. If you want the first-run foil version, ordering sooner is the safest bet.
