This preorder is a physical cartridge version of Ocarina of Time that stands out for nostalgia, cartridge ownership, and a release day delivery window that beats Nintendo's own shipping estimate. The visuals, sound effects, movement, and gameplay are described as matching the original while looking amazing. The $59.88 price is treated as close to standard pricing for a physical copy, and the SAVE3X code has brought totals down by about $10 for some carts. The main caution is that the page has been going in and out, checkout can hang, and the foil cover appears tied to limited first run stock. A solid option if you want the cart and can catch the order flow.

  • The SAVE3X coupon reportedly worked for some shoppers and reduced the total by $10.

  • The game's visuals, sound effects, movement, and gameplay reportedly match the original closely.

  • Walmart delivery reportedly arrived early on release day when preordered previously.

  • The physical cartridge option can be preferable to digital because it uses a card format.

  • The product page reportedly went in and out, which can make adding the item to cart difficult.

  • The foil game cover may not be guaranteed if it is removed from the title or listing details.

  • Checkout reportedly hangs indefinitely when attempting to apply the promo code.

  • The preorder arrival date can involve a long wait even when the physical cart is desired.

If it were me, I'd just jump on this preorder price. I do remember buying Zelda Tears of The Kingdom at launch from Costco for something like $57.99, but with a high profile title such as this, I don't imagine it'd be anywhere near as low as $30.
Agreed. Unlike ToTK which was the same formula that some Zelda fans hated, this game is going to bank on pure nostalgia.

Yeah I'm thinking of doing the same, but I'm also afraid of losing out on the whole foil situation. Man, Nintendo sure knows how to give me FOMO.
I wouldn't worry too much, supposed it's the entire first run of the game - millions of copies.

Is the physical box only the cartridge or does it have the option to do a digital code instead? My kid loses cartridges so as appealing as limited edition art sounds I'd probably go for the digital version here.
No option for digital when buying the physical copy. Maybe teach your kid to be responsible with his things?

Never happy with anything.
The Legend of Sloppa
Slopparina of Slop

Child Link looks like bride of Chucky wearing a green tea cozy knitted by someones grandma.
Adult Link looks like a Vogon had sex with a drunken Na'vi and popped out a fetal alcohol syndrome halfling baby.
Same for princess Zelda.

The art style just looks like soulless slop.

They should have based it on the original art or gone the studio Ghibli cell shaded route.

And why do they all look they are made of plastic and took a swim in a vat of olive oil?
They all look like they just got off the set of Primus Winonas big brown beaver video and oilyer than Sylvio Dante.

The original is very old, it's more like marketing a classic to a new generation (with some nostalgia, but it's had rereleases)

I felt similarly to star fax remake which I'm also not going to play unless its heavily discounted. It seems the only good remakes so far according to public opinion has been Resident Evil. Blizzard did D2 ressurected very well at launch but has seemed to turn to slop over time (outside looking in opinion), but thats pretty much it.

I actually think the Star Slop
Remake looks ok but the game has already been remastered so many times.
Like you said if it gets heavily discounted I would get it.
On rails shooters are not really my thing anyway.
I was ok with the art style for SF but OOT is a huge disappointment
