I'd imagine if you wait like 5 years it should hit that price. We've already waited this long so what's a little more. Smilie joking aside this is a good deal. Nintendo wants 70 on their website.

It released in 1998 for $59.99 before tax (inflation adjusted this was the equivalent of ~$122 today.)

This game has been fully remade with quality of life improvements and can be bought for...wait for it...$59.88!

It's reductive to say "it's just graphics" because there are many talented designers, developers, musicians, and other professionals who masterfully rebuilt this game from the ground up.

Feel free to wait until a special sale or buy it used for cheaper, but objectively, it's already a reasonable price.

I always like to remind people that you can use Nintendo account funds to purchase things like this on their website. So if you get funds when they're 20% off like Costco and Sam's has a few times a year this would be $54. Same with the console itself.

Or you can get it for 10% off every day using Costco's standard discount on Nintendo funds.

pre-order the physical and then wait for the nintendo gc sale to buy digital. that way you are guaranteed to have a copy and you can resell the physical

This game was like $70 when it came out in the 90s, a fully remastered OoT is definitely worth $70 today.
