Works online for me. I went to Walmart.com > Services > Photo Center. Then Prints > 1 Hour Prints. Uploaded my photos, put 4x6 prints in my cart, in-store the perk was automatically displayed, along with option for store pickup or free shipping/no minimum included with WM+. Placed order for 7 prints total $0.00, delivery by this Saturday"

I went and tried this and no one could figure it out at Walmart.

There is a bar code you bring up in the Walmart app (Account and then "New: In-Store Perks!" & then the free 24 photo listing) but it didn't remove anything from the price. Staff was aware of the promo but they needed to get a manager to do something and it turned into a big thing.

Walmart Plus includes 25 free 4 by 6 photo prints each month, and the perk works smoothly online through Walmart.com Photo Center. Uploading photos, choosing the 1 hour 4 by 6 option, and checking out can drop the total to $0.00, with store pickup or home delivery available. In store, the discount has also applied automatically at self checkout after printing at a kiosk, though the app barcode route has required manager help in at least one case. The photo terms also grant Walmart broad rights to uploaded images.

Thanks for sharing your experience, I hate when things turn into 'a big thing'! It's unfortunate they don't allow uploading digitally through the app like Walgreens photo printing.

Why does this require a trip to the store... why can't you just order them online if you are uploading them online anyways. Seems entirely inefficient...

It's to try to get you into the store to purchase other items

You can order them online and it takes the discount off automatically at checkout.

I did this last month and most of the people where confused. This is how it worked out for me, I went to the kiosk, printed out 15 photos, took them to the self checkout in the front and as I checked out it applied the discount automatically as I was checking out. No special barcode scanning or anything.

Why not just have them shipped to home?

Wow thanks. Every day I am starting to wonder why I keep renewing Prime. Have both and have used + a lot for the 10 cents off of gas in addition to some of the other benefits.
