This is a good deal. If I didn't have my set already, I would buy this. Then split it up with the 1/4 inch set for my car and the 3/8 and 1/2 inch set for home.

Slick deals is showing the wrong photo. That appears to be a photo of the 300 piece set.

Picked up a couple of these from auctions..

I wouldn't recommend them and especially not at this price..

If you have no tools, I would recommend buying
The Three sizes in separate kits.. so you're not always lugging around sizes you don't need.

When it comes to the 1/2; inch set you will probably want a real good name brand impact set that has the larger sizes like 32_ and 36 mm.

These 150 tool kits tend to lack the larger lug nut sizes and not impact rated.

3/8 will usually do all the 1/4 inch work..

But you can get 1/4
Inch cheap anywhere..

Save your money.. And get more.

Oh and I'm your own tool box throw in various pliers..

And crescent wrenches

And ratchet wrenches..

Most of these so called mechanics sets are disappointing..

I've found this exact set to be the one I used most often for most home use because it has enough tools to be useful for almost everything for both automotive and house fixes, while not having a bunch of extra rarely used tools/sizes that I don't often need. I have their smaller tool set that was on sale for $50 with only 3/8" & 1/4" drive sizes, as well as a 192pc 38lb DeWalt set that is considerably larger and heavier and has almost every size I'd ever need, and I don't use either of those as much as this set. You are right that this set doesn't have larger socket sizes that some people may need which applies to me when I have to do my brake calipers which require a 22mm socket that only my DeWalt set has, but that's a rare case since I only need to change my brakes every 6-8 years. Everyone is going to have different needs and requirements but I think I'm in the range of "the average consumer" when it comes to how handy I am and owning the average amount of stuff so this set works great for me most of the time without costing as much or being as heavy as the larger and more expensive DeWalt set.

This is a good deal. I've had a variety of Husky hand tools and they're very good - especially the ratchets - for the price.

And they're among the easiest to get replaced under warranty if necessary (RIP Sears).
