They also are selling an 8 pack of their silk filament in 250g spools for $55. I picked this up since I don't print a lot of items and this lets you try out numerous colors without spending a fortune on 1k spools.

Oof that's over $25/kg I think I paid about the same for a 16 pack of theirs on temu.

Under $10 a spool for Silver Silk and Gold Silk is a steal. Hard to find that anywhere. Killer deal, don't sleep on this if you need Silver or Gold PLA. I use it all the time for metal prints, trophies, whatever.

I bought this before on another deal and Sunlu Gold was too yellow to look gold. Geeetech gold is much closer to gold. The Sunlu silver was pretty good.

P2S with the ams pro, been thru over 30 sunlu pla and petg rolls with only one issue and that was my fault i loaded a sunlu refil pack on a empty sunlu roll but didn't pay attention before i cut the strips off, then had to re-seat it and pinched some filament in the process, was able to manually correct after a jam from MY own fault there, but other than that the sunlu has been great for my projects.

Thanks for the info. What filament profiles do you use? Do you just set it as "Bambu Silk" or do you use Sunlu presets in Bambu Studio?

When you print, do you set the filament profile as 'bambu silk' or do you use sunlu presets in bambu studio?
