Royal basmati rice is valued for its aroma, taste, and decent texture when it arrives fresh, and the bulk price can be attractive, especially with coupons or Subscribe and Save. Some bags have cooked up well in rice cookers, and sealed storage or freezing is suggested to keep larger quantities fresh. The main concern is contamination, with repeated reports of bugs, worms, pantry moths, and web-like debris in some bags. A few also find the flavor dry, bland, or not like true Indian basmati, so it is best suited to shoppers comfortable inspecting and storing rice carefully.
Subscribe & Save plus a $5 off $25 grocery coupon reportedly brought the total to $20.49.
The effective price after coupon and cashback was described as about $0.74 per pound, which can undercut Sam's pricing.
Some purchases reportedly had no bugs after using multiple bags, and the rice produced good results in a Cuckoo cooker.
A buyer reportedly found the rice fresh and stored it in sealed containers after purchase.
Reviews reportedly describe receiving infested bags with small bugs and white wiggly worms.
Severe pest contamination was reportedly experienced, including pantry moths, ants or pests, flies on opening, and web-like material inside the bag.
Some buyers reported poor eating quality, describing the rice as dry and flavorless compared with Minute Rice.
The deal may require buying 30 pounds, which can be a lot of rice for smaller households.

They found every major Indian brand including high quality India gate Basmati rice with very high content of pesticides and lots of brands with plastic rice mixed with real rice sometimes around 60%
Don't trust Indian brand for anything.
* No problems with bugs, in plastic pack.
