Just kidding. Totally bought the cheaper one that includes the brush. Thanks Wincat!
Community Reviews
This dryer vent vacuum attachment is praised for pulling out lint very effectively and reaching tight spots around laundry appliances. It also gets credit for helping clean under the washer and dryer, refrigerator coils, and gaps beside the oven. The main caution is that a drill attached brush kit or a full vent cleaning extension may do a more complete job, and fit can be an issue on some similar two piece designs. A handy add on for routine lint cleanup and hard to reach areas.
Common Questions (5)
A kit that includes the drill-attached brush is the better buy if you want to clean the full vent run, since the brush reaches farther into the duct. The vacuum attachment is still useful for lint traps and tight appliance areas, but the brush adds more complete vent-cleaning capability.
Opening the back of the dryer and vacuuming out lint is recommended as an extra step, especially if the lint trap is heavily clogged. For a full vent run, a drill-extension brush or similar long-reach tool is the more complete cleaning method.
Yes. It can pull out a lot of lint from the dryer and is also useful for tight spaces like under the washer and dryer, refrigerator coils, and gaps between appliances. A drill-attached brush can help for deeper vent cleaning, but the vacuum attachment itself is reported to work very well.
Yes. Keeping the lint trap and vent clear is described as important for reducing fire risk and helping clothes dry more effectively. Heavy lint buildup is treated as a sign the vent needs a deeper cleaning.
It may not. The linked version uses a two-piece attachment mechanism that can fit poorly on some vacuums, while a one-piece stretchy gel-style attachment is described as grippier and more universal.

If your dryer is so full of lint that you need to use a vacuum hose in the back of it, you're not emptying the lint tray nearly enough.

Listening to this for more than 2 seconds was unbearable. It felt like the weapon someone used at the US Embassy in Cuba. No joke, I'm being dead serious.

if you want to get the one with the brush it's $7.99. it's the one that I have and it's worked very well. I personally spend the extra $1.50 to get the brush.

The one that I have is comparable to the one that the OP listed and it's pretty clear that it'll work on just about every vacuum because it's a stretchy gel like material. I've only used it with my regular vacuum but I have little doubt that it would work with my shop vac as well. And it doesn't fall off because it's pretty grippy.
This all said, despite the fact that I don't use the brush that I have that often, I would get one that has both the brush and the vacuum attachment but I would get the single piece unit like the one that OP listed but with also the addition of the brush. They come up on Slickdeals quite a bit.
this is the one that I have and it is $7.99
