Walk me through the math. At the very least unopened LE will sale for $70-80 around Christmas on FB marketplace. Can you recommend me a sure 25% over 2 month period the traditional way?
Is this the reasoning you told your partner that you needed to buy this game? This totally sounds like girl/boy math. Look at how much I will make by spending $65 today.

Man, it's always Zelda games that force my console upgrades.
Haven't bought a console since 360. This might get me back

Any money to be made here?
IF you want to hold onto it for 25 years, then yes. Check how much an N64 brand new version goes for now... $909... $9000 if graded. These and mario games always sell well 10-15 years from now when systems are around but games aren't sold anymore.

When they revealed the game yesterday my jaw dropped. I was not expecting the visual direction they went with. It's so dang captivating. I feel like I'll get lost in the atmosphere of the game.

Many consider this the greatest video game of all time. I've played it so many times. It has been re-released frequently on Nintendo consoles. It was "remade" for Nintendo 3DS, but this is a true reimagination of the game. It looks entirely new. For $60 this feels like a steal. To replay the greatest game of all time in a new way? Sign me up!

EDIT: System Shock's remake was incredibly well done. You compare the original with the recently (was it last year?) remade version and it was visually an entirely new game. I thoroughly enjoyed that remake.
I appreciate the opinions on it being a GOAT there are plenty of other games that could be the video game GOAT: the first Zelda on nintendo... ridiculously ahead of its time (and second game completely different locations of dungeons in one), Goldeneye... Link's reawakening on gameboy... Wink That's always a fun debate to have.

Goodness this is awful! Why would someone pay 60$ for a game that old? If you have the console you can find it anywhere for like 3 bucks at a garage sale or something.
You know it's not the original game as it was, right??

Ok I looked it up. I still don't think it's worth the price of a brand new switch game but I understand some of the price tag now. Thanks for correcting me

You're banking your profits on a potential group of people who don't have enough cash or credit for $60 on November 5th to pay you $70-80 cash-in-hand a month later in December? Is that really sure profits?
Not because they can't afford it. November will have wave one Zelda fans. Xmas will have the MASSES who will absolutely pay MSRP+ for the LE copy of the best game of the season. It's brilliant by Nintendo to release it 2 months before the holidays. I don't intend to sell my copies, but i am certain that it will sell.

The person I replied to said traditional investing is better. I was just asking which traditional instrument can have a better hypothetical return. Why are you making this personal.

Will this come with the foil cover?
I'm skeptical. They removed the foil art case in the description and listed it as "game only". They forgot to remove the picture with the case though. Seems pretty shady.
