Also, how many gears? (it's nice to see an e-bike that expects you to do some serious pedaling, instead of a token pedaling motion simply to activate the motor) I'm assuming this model has enough gears to operate it without using the electric motor?
Lastly: any numbers on range? I didn't see any "up to 40 miles" specs.

This is a very good price for this quality of bike, however I'd be a little worried about battery health on old stock after sitting around in some warehouse for who knows how long.
oh and gears - 1x 11 drive train by Shimano.

Mid-drive motors are more efficient, but my similarly priced Ride1up Vorsa produces 1400w at max. There's only so much that efficiency can do.
