Been racing RC since the 90s. Find a local track that's racing these and you'll have just as much fun as racing the multi-thousand dollar 1/10th and 1/8th scale cars. My advice when you get it, take it completely apart and rebuild it. Go to Youtube and checkout Murfdogg's Nascar tips. And if you're in the St Petersburg / Clearwater area, come race with us at Orange County Choppers in Clearwater on Monday nights at 7:00.

BYW these are hobby grade RCs Losi was big in the 90s when I was growing up.

@Archimedes001 - Heck yeah! There's still TLR (team losi racing) that's more of a lineage from the 90's and 2000's Losi RC, but the Losi branded lineup are pretty much RTR entry-level hobby grade RC's. And really, they have knocked it out of the park with their RTR race cars over the last couple years. Many tracks run the Box-Stock Nascar, Box-Stock Losi 22s Sprint, and now the Box-Stock Losi Dirt Late Model. All are fantastic RTR cars...

If you're into RC, whatever your take is on RTR racing, this is a sweet deal. And if you race these already, pick one up for parts! You get a set of wheels ($20), a new body ($45), a battery ($20), a motor ($15)... and you're already over $100 and you still have the entire car, servo, ESC/Receiver.... heck, sell the radio for $20 on Fleabay and and drop your investment to just $75. This is a freaking steal.

Yes, I bought a 1RC Asphalt Late Model there a few months ago, and I've bought some other things too... HOWEVER - As I'm typing this I realized the way this looks since I'm the OP! But they're legit, they're in NY and it shouldn't be hard to dig into them.

But I'll be the first to admit that this seems very out-of-character for Horizon to allow prices below the prices that they sell them on their own online stores. Had I not bought from them before I'd be skeptical too.

Also - Go onto the Losi Nascar pages on FB and you'll see that there were several shops over the weekend with the same deal. This is the only one that'll also ship them.

Me too! I know of several hobby shops that had them as in-store only, so I was surprised to see SmallAddicationsRC have it advertised as being able to be shipped. And I was REALLY surprised that they posted their price will continue after they sold out and they're applying it to their next batch. If you know anything about how Horizon operates (LOSI's parent company, that's also their primary distributor), they generally are very strict on how they dictate the prices that LHS's can sell their products.
