The sucralose is an ambush because this is a classic vintage brand and you're not expecting modern chemical formulations and additives, especially when added sugar isn't specifically necessary in this category - brands like Spindrift make these sparkling waters with added fruit juice without sweeteners and taste great without them.

They used to make Momenti which was around 35 calories and was sweetened with juice only. I wish they'd go back to that. 35-50 calories with juice only seems to be the perfect balance of flavor and calories without requiring the artificial sweeteners.
