I'm guessing your not an electrical engineer? This produces 3000A peak current. "A 12,000 mAh jump starter will typically start a car 15 to 20 times on a single full charge..."
I own (3) smaller Gooloo 10,000mAh jump starters and they are fantastic. Saved me and others many time since I have owned them for 6 years. This is a great buy.

I agree 3000 amps means little and is just an overinflated advertising gimmick, but to less tech savvy people, higher numbers means better right? But now consider this. Your actual car battery under your hood probably provides less than 800 amps, maybe even a lot less, but its more than enough to turn the engine and start your car. Most people just care if it's going to do what it says its going to do and that's start your car, and it'll do that. It will start a dead car and it does it well, I've used quite a few different brands and so far they've all worked as advertised. Starting your car in real-world use is more important than a gimmicky overinflated number used for advertising.

Super Capacitors or you can try the newer Sodium Ion battery jump starter.
Super capacitor works great. Heat and cold does not affect it for long term storage.
They do have some drawbacks though. They take more knowledge to operate. They may take a long time to recharge itself depending on how far depleted your car battery has been depleted. Common sized super capacitor jump starters cannot start most diesels and larger size engine v6,v8.

Probably most important is remembering to recharge the jump starter every once in a while (3 months, 6 months, etc).

Don't know about this one... But the gt4000s model. Jumped 2 diesel tractors cold starts at below freezing temps. My dad thought the 2nd tractor was gonna fry the starter it was turning over so fast. It's old and just needed a little bit of ether to get fired up. He was impressed enough he wanted one for Christmas to put in his truck for just these occasions

I had a few of these cheap jump starters over the years. Bought them for the kids when they started driving thinking it would be helpful. The one time I needed it to work it was a joke. Wouldn't even turn on the dash lights. Friend had a Noco that that got it to click the starter, but not enough juice to start. Dad had one of the true jump packs from HF and that worked like a champ. I never spent money on one of these again. They won't jump a car battery when you need it. The oddest solution I've seen work is the Ryobi jump kit using the 18v midsize battery, but again, for the price you can get into a HF jump pack.

Thanks OP, grabbed one for the wife. We picked up one for the kid before she went off to college last year and she's used it multiple times to keep her tires aired up and has helped 3-4 friends jump start their cars when they had dead batteries. They perform exactly as advertised.

Looks like a good product. I kind of want to wait until these switch to completely USB-C rather than "A to C".

Correct me if I'm wrong but you charge this thing with USB-C but it can only output USB-A?
