Uses Bluetooth 3.0 edr, which is ancient by today's standards, FYI

for more context of 3.0 EDR: This would be fine for audio-only music without any visual frame of reference, as opposed to audio from a video/movie/etc. where the latency introduced by the older BT spec will cause noticeable lag and be will out of sync with the video you're watching.

I have this and while the range / signal is pretty good, a severe flaw makes it unusable.

It's always broadcasting its intent to grab a BT signal; so even if your phone is connected to it another phone can override the connection. Also, once you turn it on it constantly pings for a BT signal, even if you disconnect it from your phone it'll force a connection a couple minutes later unless you forget it.

I spent the extra money and got a LDAC bluetooth audio adapter. Seems like it sounds better? Running through custom 7.1 speaker setup.
