I didn't know that people had stopped buying the game and that it's irrelevant whether they're made aware of a good price.

Also, this deal has been posted exactly once before. I linked to it in the OP.

Lukewarm deal. I'll keep posting to let people know the absolute best deal on any and all Nintendo products is stocking up on Nintendo funds when Costco and Sam's has them on sale for 20% off. This game then becomes $40. And Costco always has funds in $100 increments for 10% off so this game is always $45. And remember you can stack $800 and it works on hardware too on the Nintendo website! So yes even the limited edition Zelda console could be had for $415. IF your trigger finger was fast enough and you had 20% funds in your account.

If you want to play that game: the best deal is when you sign up for a credit card that offers a $200 cash bonus for spending $500 within 3 months. Then you buy $625 worth of Nintendo gift cards at 20% off for $500, plus an additional $200 cash bonus. So you'll be getting over 50% off total.

Combine that with a sale in the eStore and you'd be paying $20-25 for a $50 game.

The game is great, the campaign is pretty much 1:1 for the original. The added cut-scenes do a lot for the story.

The multiplayer has been totally revamped, and is a lot of fun. They just added local split-screen multiplayer (previously you could only do local if you used GameShare--so each person had to have a Switch or Switch 2 device).

The campaign multiplayer is one player with the ship controls one player with the gun controls using the mouse controls. The battle mode multiplayer is either split screen or game share.
