Wow, just bought during the last resale event and now it's even cheaper. Thanks. I see a lot of resale stuff posted without their regular % discounts - what's going on?

Yes, lots of price drops on resale items. Maybe they clear space for upcoming sales

Shot in the dark, I think Amazon might have changed their rules around FBA and if you're a reseller just dropshipping or offloading stuff to amazon and waiting for someone to buy it, amazon might have changed their holding costs. So like, if it cost you X dollars per month to leave it in their warehouse for 1 month, well now it's 2 or 3x, and it goes up for the second and third month. More of an incentive to clear out the warehouses so the product doesn't rot on their shelves.

total guess, but I know that the big shift pre-covid (2018ish) to in-house things at amazon changed a lot of things for resellers. I could see them pivoting from that strategy.

I think if anyone has experience with resale items and the quality of them that would be useful (I do find the drop shipping and warehousing dialogue interesting but not really helpful regarding this deal). I'm assuming these are people who bulk buy the returns from Amazon and Walmart and ... and who package them up and resell them them. Maybe that's obvious but just stating my train of thought. I don't know how big of a roll of the dice buying these things is. I think the new ones go on sale for around $129 and come with warranty. I have a different Breville oven bought new and it has lasted 8-9 years and will last another 2 at least. Applying that to a new one it puts the annual cost at $13-$16 a year. This needs to last 5 years to match that. Do these resale versions last 5 years? 8? 10?
