Applebees burgers are good. They're made to order and it certainly seems to me like they start with ground beef and form the burgers in house, not sure where you got microwaved from.

The fries are alright but I've never had em come out soggy. That said I usually go off hours and do the $9.99 bacon cheeseburger deal and sit solo at the bar so it comes right out pipin hot.

Where you getting a better burger the size of an Applebee's burger with fries for anywhere close to $9?

Not sure how widespread that $10 deal is - is it avail for takeout? Neither dine-in or takeout in my area, it's $14.50. Where can you get a burger and fries from a place like this for $9 takeout these days? Apparently from the upvotes people seem to think it's a pretty goood deal…

I wouldn't wish a Applebee's burger on my worst enemy. You can get the Chili's 3 for me "The Big QP" cheese Burger, with fries a drink and an appetizer for 10.99 7 days a week.

Dine-in only. $8.99 for an Applebee's Cheeseburger and fries doesn't seem that outrageous. certainly a better deal and product than 100% of the fast food options around…
