The O-Cedar EasyWring spin mop is a budget-friendly floor cleaning system that stands out for its spin wringing and the two included refills. It gets enough water out for general house cleaning, and the small bucket can even make lifting and emptying easier in tight situations. The main drawbacks are durability and cleaning power, with reports of a cheap feel, collapsing handles, and limited scrubbing ability. It seems best for light to moderate use rather than heavy-duty floors.

Common Questions (5)

  • Some units are reported to feel cheap, with the handle, head, and bucket all feeling flimsy, and a few have broken after only a few uses. Other long-term owners report sturdy construction and years of trouble-free use, so build quality may vary.

  • At $22.48, it is a strong price for the mop/bucket system plus two replacement heads, especially compared with paying around $45 new. The value is best for general house cleaning, not heavy-duty scrubbing.

  • It works best for general house use and smaller spaces, but it can feel slow on large tile areas and is not ideal for heavy scrubbing. The spin wringing removes a lot of water, yet the single-bucket design can put dirty water back on the floor.

  • "Used - Like New" means it was bought and returned without being used. That makes it closer to open-box than a truly used mop, though the resale grading may still depend on the box condition rather than a full inspection of the contents.

  • Yes, the small bucket and spin feature can make it easier to lift and empty water during cleanup, including basement flooding. It is also useful when paired with a larger bucket for tougher jobs like cleaning an epoxy garage floor.

I've had one of these for a few years, it works well and is plenty sturdy, not sure what people are doing to a mop that this is considered "cheap" feeling. On the con side, bucket size is pretty small which does not help the whole concept of mopping where the water gets dirty as you go. The spin wringing works very well. I use it in conjunction with a 5 gal bucket to clean my epoxy garage floor, quite the job in the spring to get all the road salt and muck removed.

Our basement used to flood during heavy rainstorms. We couldn't have handled it without the spin feature and relatively small bucket, which made it easier to lift and empty the water into the basement sink.

I have this and it's just OK for fairly small spaces. It would be perfect for a tiny home or RV.

My new-ish house has mostly tile floors, and it would take me forever to cover that much space with this tiny mop. So for my use case it didn't really work well. I gave up on this thing and just got a big yellow Rubbermaid industrial bucket and mop.

My wife got one of these after hearing the hype. It was trash. A normal mop is way better. The thing broke after a few uses and didn't work well when it did.

I have had mine for 5 years and love it. Not sure if the quality has changed over the years. Mine is perfect. Was thinking of replacing it just to get a newer one but with the comment about the quality not sure if I'll be doing that now.

A used mop? This will go well with the used toilet brush and used dental floss I just ordered!

Mine arrived in a badly beat-up box, sloppy tape job, no handle, and what did come looked really cheap.

I hope they've fixed the handle, I have two and both handles collapse, have to tape them.
