I have a 1TB hard drive in my 15 year old lenovo desktop and I have barely used 125 GB. Everything is in the cloud or Google docs and drives. Great deal.

I understand that but I just figured people that don't know how or just out of pure convenience of not having to upgrade the hard drive on their own would prefer buying a laptop with a one terabyte drive but that's just my opinion as far as marketing goes and I know nothing

Hosser honestly I agree with you, I don't think 256 GB is a lot especially if someone say starts downloading large files (videos you took of your cousin's wedding say for example) .. and sure you could say pay google $20 a year for 100 GB of storage but for some people (depends on the person and how big their files are in total) that's not going to be enough ..

...on the other hand the other folks who commented have a point too, sadly in today's day and age where AI is gobbling up all the resources that would normally go to hard drives (ram too) like an insane pac-man Stick Out Tongue it's sadly not a good time to be buying laptops or desktop PC's for that matter Frown or even say building your own PC (which in the past would have saved you big bucks)... myself I'm just hoping our families laptop and desktop PC's (I built the latter) last as long as they possible can in the hopes that maybe, someday prices go back to normal (maybe I'm being overly optimistic Smilie hopefully prices go back down at some point! )
