I have a 3-pack installed for a few months now and it works well but I would not recommend it because of one problem that has been impossible to solve. I have a two story house with the 3 nodes spread out. Whenever I am walking around in the house the phone drops wifi connection for a second or two while it switches from one node to another. I see this issue is common looking at reddit etc. I have tried all the fixes that you can find online but it doesn't help. I did not have this issue with a previous older version of Orbi mesh system.

Great value especially factoring in the integrated 2.5GB switch. The Deco app is painfully basic if you're used to something like OpenWrt let alone Ubiquiti but you can easily put them into access point mode for use with a dedicated router of your choice.

This..I use these as APs only with a Ubiquiti Router and get both granular functionality of Ubiquiti with the reliability and ease of use of these APs at more of budget cost vs going for a Ubiquiti only setup.

My fiber ISP requires I use their modem, which is fine. It's a good Motorola and always gives me reliable 1Gbps speed. I have 5 of these APs spread over our acre lot and home. I use wired backhaul thru a 2.5Gbps switch. Future proofing. I stream music or whatever anywhere on our property without the need for cellular data. When I'm on the mower, I have music in my earbuds without any drops. This is the 2nd set of these I've purchased. I started with a model that had a smaller coverage area and fewer features and then upgraded after a couple years. I have no compaints with mine.

Are you using any of them outdoors? Or are they scattered across sheltered structures throughout your property?
