This is comically bad advice; Bluetooth is on unlicensed 2.4GHz spectrum too, and performs noticeably worse than Bolt in terms of responsiveness and activation time.

my experience was otherwise. Bolt had tons of interference and lag while bluetooth BLE was working perfect. Comical or not it was my practical experience and other's may have different experience. Use as you wish.

Has anyone used this vs the MX 3? the previous version, what's your verdict. My MX3 has rubber melting whenever i use it and it's really gross.

That's exactly the main and most valued thing addressed by the MX4 update: the new material of its surface is less vulnerable to grease and stickiness. I can vouch for that.

But Logitech is notorious for their mouse buttons going bad after about three years -- how convenient to make us buy in again! -- yet I took another roll of the dice.

received mx master 4 today and it's basically in mint condition. box was sealed and doesn't look like it has been opened at all. mouse works great on my PC. I have it paired using bluetooth.
