Did you know that all 3 first party game controllers still use the drift-prone potentiometer sticks, even the $90 Switch 2 pro controller. Hell even the $150+ Xbox Elite controller or the $200 Dualsense Edge still use those. Meanwhile GameSir and 8bitdo have options that cost just $20 that have hall-effect sticks.
When you start to learn about what these 3rd party controllers offer for the price and you start using them, you'll be the exact opposite of your original statement. I can't justify spending money on 1st party controllers anymore (except for my PS5 cause there aren't any good alternatives)

They should all also work on Switch, though the results seem to vary. My white one works fine after software updates, but I got that one when they were first released. Not sure if they changed things.

Assuming it is all the same hardware(and I couldn't find otherwise), it is probably just discounted because of branding. I got a much of Diablo 3 Steelseries mice super cheap for the same reason.

I got my Evernight version "Like New" from Amazon Resale and it really was like new. All the accessories were complete. Even the packaging was pristine.
