This monitor is a flat 40" and pretty similar to the innocn one of the same size.

I previously had the innocn one and it died after a year. The reviews for this one are similar

This comes with a 180 day warranty and you can purchase an extended warranty on the page as well if you have any concerns in that regard. Never a bad idea to invest in an extended warranty if the price is pretty reasonable.

It's the same exact monitor as the Monoprice 40". Have two of them, one for for 3 years now.

There are 14 reviews on Costco. One 2 * complains about not liking the stand, not being sure about flat screen (personal preference?) and "chunkiness", and it doesn't connect to his work computer via USB C. Four one * reviews, two say it stopped turning on within 6 months, one says they returned due to display flickering, and the last says they got a defective stand.

The rest of the reviews are positive.

I bought this new at Costco about a year ago and have been really happy with it. I had been eyeing the bigger 49" Samsung ultra wides, but this was so much cheaper and at Costco so I gave it a shot.

I have it mounted to a stand, I could see an argument it's too close to you on the factory stand, especially if you have a dinky 24" desk etc.

I like the flat screen personally, I tried but couldn't get used to curved. It's hard to use multiple screens with curved screens in the mix.

1440p is a really nice compromise resolution, as running 4k requires much beefier GPU but lower resolution wont scale to a screen in this size neighborhood.

I haven't tried the USB C...

Had this for a few years as a secondary work monitor it's fine. It's bit big if you plan sitting close to it keep in mind it has no curve.
