Even though i recently bought a 160w charger that seems to be well built, at least their cheaper items have a lot of bad reviews in that they die quickly and UGreen support has been zero. If I could, I'd choose a different brand for safety and peace of mind.

Some caveats to consider:
Resolution support up to 4K at 30 Hz. 1080p should support 60 Hz.
If you plan to use the HDMI port for regular computer tasks then 30Hz will likely bother you if you use 4K resolution. If you plan to use it to connect your tablet/phone to a cheap hotel TV for media playback then you are probably OK here.

I ended up spending a little more ($16) for one with 60hz support:

If you don't need the flash card support there's another $9 option with 60Hz @ 4K:

The $10 Amazon option doesn't work for most people.

Yes, I went throught the same. I didn't realize these were 30Hz initially. The 30 Hz ones also heated up (not sure if it was the stress of data transfer or just bad quality). Ended up with a 60 Hz after paying about 15-17. I tried a few different ones as many of these are not good quality (Acer and Anker did not work for me though it apparently does for others).

The UGreen 60 Hz worked fine for me though and I carry one of these cheap ones to hook up other monitors when I am traveling.
