Only $6 a gallon, probably $8 by Christmas. Unless you live in California, it's already $9 there.

I think it takes used cooking oil, car oil. After checking, it will soot up the internal

I have this, paid more, use it in a work van during winter, get a couple of days out of a gallon. Fuel pump is a bit loud but you get use to it.

Is this the one you can modify to use car oil?

I 3D printed a power supply for this to run off of 2 Milwaukee batteries for a buddy. Files are on Makerworld if anyone is interested.

Filter with 5 micron filter and preheat it. Should reduce soot.

It is good to have diverse fuel sources. We don't know what propane will end of being or even natural gas. I wanted a diesel heater last winter but they were a lot more than this on Amazon with horrible reviews. This has good reviews and is very inexpensive. I bought.

In for one, vevor gave me a 11% off coupon, worked. Cheap heater to use boondocking in my RV or on my sailboat in Alaska, for $60 bucks, can really go wrong.

anywhere i can buy that thing? i dont have 3d printer. also, i am looking to run a heater inside on battery (plugging in trips the breaker as adjacent rooms are on same breaker). i do have bunch of dewalt 20v batteries (can go milwaukee if necessary) and ideally would like something that can run off those (doesnt have to be too powerful, just for a small bedroom/bath). anyone have any pointers?

btw, are diesel heaters really usable indoors without any danger/ill-effects?
