I'm curious how curve screens work?
Do you get more/less glare, when looking at edges does it get distorted?

It is not about glare. It is about how easy for you to make small right or left neck turns to find what you want. Flat wide monitors are very painful to work with because you are constantly turning your neck much or you have to turn all your body.

instead of having 2-3 separate monitors this packs it seamlessly all into one without borders or too much width. it's easier to move your eyes around the curved screen. if you do anything with multiple windows open they are super worth it!

What the other people said and I'd add they are also much more immersive for gaming. Assuming your PC can handle the larger render space (you are running two monitor's worth of screen space vs a 1920x1080).

Let me put it to you this way: a few years ago I got a deal on a curved monitor for home and within three months I ordered a second flat monitor for work and rearranged my desk just to help give the illusion of a curve. Personally, I'd never go back if I was relying on a single display.

I ended up getting Samsung's 37" ViewFinity S8 Monitor for $280.
Might head over to best buy to look at a curved monitor, might get a smaller 27" curved monitor.
