In for one, thanks OP! Just a heads up for everyone else: Amazon Resale quantities are usually hyper-limited (sometimes just a few units), so buy now and think later. If you're on PS5 or PC and want a force feedback wheel, you will not find a better price than this.
Any good learning to drive software? My daughter is about to start driving and would like her to practice a simulation. Is there any driving software out there that teaches how use a stick shift?
My teenager told me the boys and girls club uses this Logitech one and the one with the shifter to teach them how to drive. She said they mostly use racing car games tho.
The best option you have for learning to drive is BeamNG.drive. The game has really good manual transmission mechanics, provided you have a proper shifter (do not get the cheap Logitech shifter). That said, you need a very expensive setup and do a lot of tweaking to get anything even close to resembling a realistic driving experience. You certainly aren't going to get that from this wheel. I have a $1500 driving sim rig with a direct drive wheel and high-end load cell pedals, and even that, while fun to use, doesn't feel terribly realistic to me. A decent arcade experience, at best.
This logitech is a fine starter wheel to see if driving sim is something you could potentially enjoy, without investing a lot of money. But you need to have realistic expectations for what you're getting here.

Thanks for the input. I guess feel isn't as important. I guess my intentions were for my daughter to learn the basics and possible dangers. An example, two lane 4 way intersection with lights. You have green in the right lane and the left lane car doesn't move even though they had green. It was due to pedestrian being late in crosswalk and if she had accelerated thru she may have hit the late pedestrian.

Like the other comment said, Beamng.drive is the best option. He's exaggerating on the "need" for a high-end setup for your needs, though. The higher end setups do most definitely have better feel, but just like everything else, it's diminishing returns on the higher-end. This Logitech will get you 90+% there for your needs. In BeamNG, there's a car and preset designed specifically for your needs called the Ibishu Covet "Student Driver". It's a low power front-wheel drive car, as obviously something like a 1,000+ HP supercar isn't the best thing to learn on. As for the maps, she can practice in free roam on simple road maps like "West Coast USA", etc. BeamNG is the best software for learning the simple driving mechanics, but isn't well designed for learning traffic laws, etc. For that, there is a software called "City Car Driving". It's physics engine and realism is no where near as advanced as BeamNG, but it's designed to teach you traffic rules/laws and tips to avoid accidents, similar to driving school.
As far as learning to drive a manual transmission, though BeamNG is the most realistic, no software is really that great for that purpose. You'll never really get the clutch feel that's necessary to really learn the clutch biting points, etc, but it can at least teach her the basic principles.

I have this but have not actually played it, it might be what you're looking for.
Note, wait for a sale if you get it, it has been as low as $2.49 directly through steam (which I believe is the price I paid)
