I used to be the biggest proponent of Amazon's "Used - Like New" but in the last year it's been awful. Quality control for returns at Amazon has pretty much disappeared as best I can tell. Won't touch them anymore.

Amazon will resell a product with half of the pieces missing. They habe gotten absolutely terrible to buy used items from. Never again.

Yeah people are using it fraudulently now...buy something and take several components, then return it for a refund- it looks brand new cuz it basically is, then Amazon turns around and doesn't check the box to ensure all parts are there and I end up with it. And then return it and the cycle repeats. Maddening.

Yep, it's a lottery. I can't tell you how many times I've received a completely different item than what I ordered. People just switching out their junk for something better and Amazon doesn't even look at the return.

This is the kind of thing that can grow mold if not dried correctly, elevating the unit and letting the hose hang down to drip for a week is a good idea, so not likely for most.

mine was refurbished...had a note inside stating missing manual and was refurbished.
