3g isn't much, especially since there's a lot more fat and protein.

I'm type1 diabetic... these aren't a problem

I paid full price for these at costco a while back. I really liked them, they have a very subtle honey flavor and for whatever reason mine had a bit of a bite to them(spicy).

For $15 this is an awesome deal.

Community Reviews

These beef sticks are described as a tasty, lightly sweet barbecue snack with a subtle honey note and a little spicy bite. The flavor lands well enough to prompt repeat orders, and the 3 grams of added sugar per stick is manageable for some. Freshness looks solid on arrival, with best by dates in late 2026 and plenty of shelf life left. Shipping can be slow, and some orders arrive in loose packaging or a mylar bag rather than a box.

  • The sticks deliver a subtle honey flavor with a spicy bite that many people find enjoyable.

    VioletHealth8715mustanggt50conv

  • The flavor profile stays good after opening, with some sticks tasting very good after eating multiple pieces.

    CinandGinSpidermonkey779

  • The product arrives with a clear expiration date, and some orders show a 12/09/26 best-by timeline on arrival.

    Spidermonkey779CinandGin

  • The order process can still work out even when shipping is slow, because delivery has been reported after tracking updates.

    bigaforlife

  • Some shipments arrive in a loose package or without a box, which can create uncertainty about what was received.

    PurpleMapleSpidermonkey779

  • The sticks can expire, and guidance suggests discarding after a couple months rather than tasting for spoilage.

    SDLooper

  • The sticks may be slightly spicy toward the end of bites, which may not suit everyone's heat preference.

    Spidermonkey779

  • Smoke flavorings raise health and safety concerns, including claims about genotoxic and carcinogenic risks and EU bans since 2024.

Smoke flavorings, whether natural or synthetic, present genotoxic, carcinogenic, mutagenic, and reproductive toxicity risks, as recognized by several public health agencies around the world. They have been banned in the European Union since 2024. I'm American so I don't care. Fly Eagles Fly!
They can take my smoke flavorings over my dead, deliciously seasoned body.

likely a company that hires a lot of released fellons like Dave's killer bread. Its good think for companies that are willing to deal with seprating the good ones who just need a fresh start over the return trippers. Lots of people go back to jail after getting out becase they just can't get a job and get back into the world.

This site is slow to ship but it does arrive. I bought a bug bite thingy on 6/4. Tracking came 6/9, and item didn't arrive until 6/16. No rush, sounds like a good deal, I'll bite.

A best by date of 12/9/26 means nothing and the won't expire. These should be good for six months at least after that date because they are processed and in individually sealed containers. As long as there is no spoilage that you can See or taste.
No Robert, they do expire.

As for your logic (and problems with random capitalizations), you really don't want to be tasting spoilage to say to yourself: "hey, these might be spoiled".

After a couple of months or so, it's probably best to take to the few dollars of lost product vs. extended periods of white porcelain praying.
