Looks pretty slick for a laptop bag. Checks a lot of boxes.

Yes, but the cable is thick and heavy, with a very large plug at the end. Which entirely defeats the purpose.

Looks nice, note it doesn't have surge protection.

Obviously that's to support the 2x AC outlets on the strip. Can't get around that. It's a nice convenient package if you need more than just USB-C on a temporary table setup

You may be thinking of their later 240W version? The 140W one's plug is pretty well flush with the wall.

The 240W is the one I'm waiting on that's seldom on sale.

These reviewers from Amazon describe (with the pictures) what I meant by my comment.

I had this. Cable is weirdly heavy and the thick. Was one of the main reasons I did not keep it

Cable is thick but detachable for storing in a laptop bag. Wall plug sits flush against the wall. Currently have mine plugged in behind the couch and pull it out for easy charging.

I have had the non smart display one for a few years now. Love it for travel. The cable is thick but detaches and it's very slim and pushes I think 100w through one of the usb C, so great for a laptop if you have a cable that can handle it.

I love this. I use it daily to power my macbook and my Xbox Ally X at the same time. I also use it when I travel. So convenient. I paid $95 so this is a great deal.

Might sound stupid but who is this for? Why would I want a screen on something that might go on the floor? And why is there only 2 AC outlets when I can carry some super slim/tiny chargers to more USB A or C ports?

The cable looks so thick it seems like it would be heavy and unwieldy. A regular power strip isn't much thicker and has surge protection with 2-3x outlets. You can get slimmer strips for travel that still have double the outlets and same USB A ports for like half the price. If the 100W+ charging is the issue, surely there are other Gan chargers similarly slim with a smaller footprint and the same number of ports?

Who is this for?

Personally I use it for work and business travel. It always sits on my work or hotel desk. The display is to get some idea of how fast it will charge my device. I don't have to carry as many chargers. If I do, it's all plugged into the AC outlets and they're all on a table/desk. Won't work for everyone's situation, but it's been useful so far for me. I also have the beefier 240 w 8 in 1 at home as a dedicated powerbank/random device charger.

I have it, love it. Was considering picking up another, so this is perfect.
