I believe all RP5's are now 12GB models since Retroid ran out of 8GB sticks so moved to 12GB moving forward. I received one about a month ago that was 12GB. Same color (black), SKU, and seller. Arrived in 5-ish days.

FWIW, I cannot believe how well the RP5 emulates Switch. Didn't even expect that when buying, ended up selling my Thor Pro since I didn't need it any more since Switch emulation was pretty much the only thing I did on that. Currently playing BOTW @ .75 resolution otherwise all other default graphics settings. It stays locked at 30 FPS so downscaling might not even been needed, especially if I bump on the handheld to "high performance" mode.

Got mine recently too, also 12gb. Are you using Eden with BOTW? I was playing Super Mario Wonder and it kept crashing. Arcesus seems to play fine but has some graphical glitches. I ordered the addon screen to make playing 3ds and ds a little easier.

Does this come with emulators already installed or is there a setup process? Also is it worth spending the xtra to get the pocket 6?

I have a 12GB for about a month. It does very well with everything I've thrown at it so far including most original Switch games.

Depends on what your goals are. For 80-90% of Switch games, the RP5 will do a great job at almost half the price after cash back at the site which cannot be named.
